Kumkumadi
Oil—also known as Kumkumadi Tailam—is a traditional Ayurvedic beauty
elixir made from saffron (kesar), sandalwood, lotus, vetiver,
manjistha, and a blend of herbal oils. Derived through an ancient Ayurvedic
process called taila paka, these herbs are slow-infused into sesame or almond oil to extract
their skin-enhancing properties.
It originated in classical Ayurvedic texts from Kerala and is now widely used across India and globally for its glow-boosting benefits.
